Everything was fitting perfectly in to place. There was music, and plenty of room in the tavern. This would be a perfect place to have the party! Now she just had to wait for everyone to show up. Luckily, she remembered to send out the invitations, because otherwise.. Boy would she feel silly right now! Gaston, the tavern owner, seemed a little rough around the edges, but deep down, Alice felt like he was a truly nice person. Then again, she felt that about everyone... to an extent. "Gaston, thank you again for allowing me to throw this party here. I promise, you won't regret it. I bet you'll have fun! There will be lots of pretty girls heeeere.." She cooed in a sing-song voice as she moved from side to side, allowing her dress to swish against her shins like a bell. "As if you need help getting girls," she teased with a wave of a hand and a giggle. "Anywhooo, I better check on the tea. Make sure there's enough honey, and sugar, and.." She blinked, as though she were forgetting something important..but what could it be? "Am.. am I forgetting anything?" She asked no one in particular. Gaston was glad when the girl asked him if she could throw a party in his tavern. He agreed, beside who was he to deny such a pretty lady to party in the one place where people like to have fun. "No problem, I will have fun tonight, sweetheart, don't get that wrong." He winked at the girl with his Savage family good looks. He nodded at the girl as she told him to have some items and he had plenty, Gaston was always ready for everything.
While the girl babbled on to herself Gaston went to make sure the bar was filled, tonight he had a few staff members on duty and he was always an on and off again mixer. He liked being both a guest and a staff member, that was the perks of being the owner. He did see all of the booze was stocked and ready for the night. Turning to Alice he smiled. "What about the Guests? Looks like we are missing them." Gaston laughed his deep attractive laugh.

So, there was going to be a party? Anya always loved a good party, if she had something to wear. Luckily, she had a blue dress she was tight around the waist with a wide skirt. She put it on and admired herself in the mirror. Eh, it would do. She wasn't one for getting too dressy, but she never wanted to be dressed down!
She arrived at the tavern and there were only a few people there so far. Great, she hated being one of the first ones there. She walked over to the host, or who she assumed was Alison and waved a little with her hand. "Hi there... I'm Anya. Is this where the parties hopping?" she asked with a smile.
(i need to get this girls personality rolling a bit, excuse the lame post)

Pongo walked down the street. He felt awkward in his slacks and button down shirt. He would much rather be wearing a t-shirt and shorts, but this was a party. Besides, He needed to look the part of the dashing best friend. Most of the shops were closing up for the night, but one was lit brightly. That would be the Tavern. Gaston's tavern looked much like any other tavern, except there were antlers everywhere. And by everywhere... well that might be a slight under exaggeration. He stepped up to the door, peeking in the window. No one was there. Was he the first one here? He closed his eyes to build up his crashing resolve. So what if he was the first one here, it is no big deal. But it was big deal. He decided he would walk in as soon as someone else went in first. Being the second one to a party wasn't that bad. But for someone who didn't go to parties, being the first one there was a bit much to ask.

Roger wasn't too thrilled about the idea of going to a party, though he might as well go. After all, Pongo did ask him to come along and really he couldn't just say no to his best friend not after how they tried to convince him to go. So he'd humor Pongo, it was a thing he always did since he didn't seem to be able to really say no to the mail man. Perhaps they were just too good of friends? After all, Pongo was always there to lend him a hand when it was needed so really giving in to what Pongo schemed up was fair payment in the piano teacher's mind. Course what he was wearing was hidden under his reddish orange trench coat that was closed, though light brown pants and darker shoes were visible.
As he approached the building, his gaze fell upon the all too familiar form of his best friend.
"Pongo!" Roger called, hopefully loud enough for the man to hear him, if they looked when he called Roger would wave to him.

The wall he leaned on soaked the warmth right out of his shoulder, the air was warm, but even concrete took more than a slight rise in temperature to truly become warm. He fidgeted with a small toy. Well, it was a toy because that it what Patch dubbed it as. It really was a conglomeration of sticks, twine, and rocks and tied together so expertly, it fell apart almost at a glance. He had asked Pongo to fix it for him. What else could he say? Of course he would fix it for him. And it turned out to be very convenient that he had brought it along with him, gave him something to think about other than going into that party. "Pongo!" he heard a familiar voice call. He turned around instantly and raised a hand in salutation just as Roger raised his. "Roger!" he called, walking out to meet him half way. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming." He confided. Roger always kept his commitments, unless there was a great day composing and a song just wasn't done. He clasped Roger's hand then put his arm around his shoulder, suddenly all of his inhibitions were gone. If he had someone to help, he could do anything. Maybe that was why he liked being around Perry and the kids so much at the orphanage. They needed him, and he needed them. "Shall we go inside?" Pongo asked Roger.

Grasping Pongo's hand once he was over to em and shook his hand, Roger gave a nervous smile as he stood there. The man didn't try to pull away from his best friend put their arm around him.
"Yeah...I...I was debating on it." Roger answered, his voice showing his nervousness. "You sure about this though Pongo? I..I mean...I've gone to these things before but just kept the piano really....doing anything else at a party...is...well...ya know.."
Roger wasn't used to interacting at a party, they were a time when some people were busy spending time with someone they were interested in or they were meeting for the first time. And Roger's track record with dates wasn't the best.

IF SHE DOESN'T SCARE YOU, no evil thing will. Ella wasn’t one for full out parties. Why? Because she didn’t really like that many people. There were a fair share of people that Ella could actually befriend, if she was even capable of friendship, but other than that everyone else just annoyed her. She didn’t really know why. As her memory serves, only about five months of it, whenever someone came into her shop, she felt like she wanted to slice their skin off and wear them as her knew fur. To others that might seem a little creepy and want her locked up, but to Ella it seemed familiar.
But that day at the shop, the mailman, of all people, had come up to her and asked her if she was willing to go on a blind date. Of course Ella was rather curious as to why she would be asked on a blind date and decided that she would give it a go. Couldn’t hurt right? But once she learned that the date was to happen at the adult party that was being thrown, she was ready to reconsider. But she wasn’t one to back out, not when her curiosity was so high and mighty, so she told the man, Rod, that she would be there.
And so her she was. She slipped into the Tavern, a place that she found herself coming more an more to in the past, probably because she got to stare at one of the men, a man name Gaston, who she found mildly attractive. But tonight there would be none of that, she would find out that this blind date was, have a good laugh and then leave. Forget about all that happened there that night.
She looked around for Rod, if she didn’t see him, maybe he hadn’t arrived yet, or maybe he decided not to come. Either way, Ella wouldn’t mind.
