Jack is an upbeat loner with a knack for trouble. He was a kind and loving older brother in the past, before he lost his family. Jackson was the eldest child of two with a single mother, for his father left them when he was just a baby. This is one thing that caused Jackson to have a little bit of bitterness in his attitude and caused him to grow up a little too fast. He put walls up after that against anyone but his sister or his mother. Stepping up as the man of the house wasn't an easy thing for young Jackson, but he rose up to the challenge with an air of confidence and humor. His seriousness rarely showed itself in front of his little sister, for he was determined to make sure her childhood was much more fun and childlike then his was.

Jacksons lack of a childhood really was made up by the years spent entertaining his little sister. He grew to love pranks, fun, laughter and all around foolishness whilst he tried to make her life an exciting one. The two were practically inseparable during that time in his life. His lack of trust for others stemmed from his fathers abandonment, but he never showed that side of himself in front of his sister. In fact, he often went overboard with his silliness around her and forgot about safety more than once. The last time they spent together was a cold day and the two went ice skating. His sister stumbled onto thin ice and was afraid to move, fearing she would fall inside. Jackson kept a level head as he instructed her to stay put until he could get there. He was able to grab her with his Shepard hook, toss her onto the thicker ice, before falling into the thin ice himself and drowning.

Jack is incredibly tired of memory wipes, for at this moment of drowning it happened to him once again. The Man on the Moon, a celestial being that calls heroes to action, chose him to become the Spirit of Winter, Jack Frost. With no recollection of his other life, Jack had nothing left but his upbeat personality, his knack for trouble, his rebel-like fun and some new found powers to control ice and snow. He had fun for a long time before he started to notice that people couldn't see him. They didn't believe in him at the time, he hadn't made himself known well enough. Three Hundred years of being invisible would take a toll on anybody, and for Jack it built up a lot of bitterness. Sure he still had fun causing snow storms and starting snowball fights, but he longed to be believed in. To be seen.[break][break]
During these three hundred years as an invisible being, Jack did a lot of exploring in his solitude. One place he found, toward the end of this era, was the kingdom of Arendelle. He wouldn't have stayed around for long, except that he found the Eldest Princess controlling ice and snow with her own two hands, just like he could. He quickly became attached to the girl, watching her slowly start to become bitter and despise her abilities. He tried to be seen by her, and even occasionally succeeded in the moments that she was able to appreciate her gift rather than scold herself for it. She started to call him and imaginary friend, but he didn't mind that much. He just liked being loved, in a way. She started expecting him to be around whenever she was locked in that room of hers. He comforted her in dark times and played with her in other times. Even when she couldn't see him, he would still build snow creations for her to cheer her up. He hung around Arendelle for a long time because of that. However, as she got older she started to forget about him. Once she was made Queen, she ran off to the North Mountain and forgot about him entirely, but at least she was finally started to believe in herself.
[break][break]
Jack left Arendelle then, and continued to seclude himself from The Guardians, the other heroes called by the Moon. They were a group of immortal beings, created to represent a different part of childhood from each of them. Santa Claus for Hope, the Tooth Fairy for childhood memories, the Sandman for sweet dreams and the Easter Bunny for Wonder. Jack had no idea what his supposed 'center' was supposed to be, and he rejected all calls to meet with the Guardians due to his bitterness at his invisibility over the years. However, things changed when a real villain started to torment the children of the world, and Jack tried to keep himself neutral on the issue but it didn't last long. He cared too much.[break][break]
He felt he had no other choice as he joined the Guardians, but was eventually glad that he did so. Together they fought the new threat, Pitch Black-the Boogeyman, and eventually he was able to be seen and believed in. He released the hate in his heart, for the most part, and during the battle he regained his memories with the help of the Tooth Fairy. He remembered what he stood for, what he believed in. Fun. This is what he was meant to be to the children. He was supposed to remind them of the fun of youth, exactly as he did with his sister. For quite some time he enjoyed himself as a Guardian, causing winter storms and playing with the children whose paths he crossed.[break][break]
Now that the curse has hit, and Jack doesn't remember anything, he's introverted back into his bitter self. Sure he can still be a goofball and have his fun, but he doesn't connect with people anymore. He's incredibly annoyed at not remembering his past life, let alone his past two lives, and wants to cause those who did this to suffer. Jack doesn't consider himself a hero nor a villain, for he has gone back to his neutral state. Hopefully someone, or multiple someones, can get past the bitterness and baggage he carries and reach that fun and caring center, reminding him what he's all about.
