music | Keith - others Keith had been on his best behavior for the longest time. He was getting quite bored with the village and bored with his shop. Filling a bag with random prank kits the man closed his shop and made his way down the main walk of the village. Keith was trying to find some harmless person to play a prank on. When making his way to the outdoor seating area he placed a whoopee cushion down on a chair and then sat in a few chairs away and pulled out a magazine while he waited for someone to take the prank. He waited a few moments before someone sat down without looking and boy did the fart noise sound perfect. The person turned a bright shade of red as everyone looked at them. Keith tried so hard to hold in a laugh, but he was unable to keep it in. So a loud burst of laughing came from the man and everyone turned and looked at him, they then rolled their eyes and went back to work. Keith sighed and walked up to the person and got his stuff back and introduced himself, then was slapped in the face. Walking away from the person who was clearly mad he had a big grin on his face. |

This village, these people – everything about it seemed to be all wrong! It all felt too slow and too unexciting. Wasn’t there anything happening? Weren’t there others around who were just as restless as he felt? And, of course, Clopin was certain that he didn’t know a single soul. He couldn’t help but feel that at some point in time he’d served a little more of a purpose to someone or to something. Well, he certainly couldn’t do much about it without having anywhere to start! Oh, but on a second thought, he might have had just the place to start – this strange village!
Clopin was naturally drawn to people so that meant that it was only natural that he would try to squeeze himself into the company of the first bunch that he’d seen. Not to mention that there had already seemed to be a little bit of a stir among them. It had been the burst of laughter – not the sound of flatulence – that had really gotten his attention though. Especially when this laughter had been met with eyes rolling and anything but amusement. Such a peculiar village, indeed. At least the lack of laughter from the crowd quickly pointed out the guilty party.
Clopin watched with arched brows as the man received a slap on the face. This brought a grin to Clopin’s face since he sometimes found abuse just as humorous as anything else. It was also evident that the man who’d committed the embarrassing feat was amused. He decided that this was obviously the person he should approach.
“The place is greatly lacking a sense of humor,” Clopin put in as he casually strode up beside the man. “Although humor at the expense of others is always risky business.” Clopin crossed his arms, glancing over toward the other man. He eyed the things that he’d retrieved before being slapped. “And what is it that you’ve got in your bag of tricks, friend?” @chesh

music | Keith - others Keith was laughing, the village needed more fun and well he thought he was the only one around to help with that, he did have a few Jokesters in training, such as the young man Kovu, he was always excited when Kovu was doing tricks. When a man came up to him he nodded. "You're right, The place is lacking." He agreed with this man fully, a town that did not have fun was a boring one. He then stopped walking at the next sentence, "But humor is funny no matter where it comes from. Sometimes you just have to try things." Keith removed the bag from his back and opened it. "The one I used on the girl its a whoopee cushion, when someone sits on it, it makes a farting sound. Quite funny on girls because they don't seem to like the noise." The man laughed at the thought. He then dug around for another item and pulled it out. "This one though, this one is amazing. Funny and well Stinky." The box was stink bombs, they were always funny with a crowd of people. He then looked at the bag filled with items. "Plenty more though less stinky or farting ones in there, but ones that will really just POP out at ya." Keith wasn't lying about the pop, he had cans that would pop out snakes, and firecrackers, and those little fire work snappers, he even had Pop rocks with him. Those were mostly for a snack later. |

When the man started to explain the whoopee cushion prank to Clopin, he swiftly brought his right hand up to his chin so that his fingers could tap thoughtfully. It seemed to be a surprisingly foreign thing to him, but amusing nonetheless. He could only assume that the reason for it seeming so strange was because his memories of anything before a few months ago completely eluded him – whoopee cushions included apparently.
The second item also was not familiar but Clopin had not forgotten how to read. His dark eyes slowly returned up toward the other man’s while he gave him a smirk. How had this trickster gone undetected by his radar for this long? Clopin could think of a few people who he’d like to embarrass… a few who would certainly deserve having stink bombs or whoopee cushions left in their vicinity. Making the acquaintance or earning friendship of this man could certainly have its perks!
“You have quite the collection of curious things,” Clopin commented while eyeing the bag with both suspicion and curiosity. Clopin gave another grin and straightened out his posture as he crossed his arms up over his chest. “You seem to have an ample supply. What would you think of having someone help you lighten the load? I know of a person or two who could have a little more lightheartedness in their lives...” He lifted his eyebrows, still grinning wide. “Clopin. And you?” @chesh

music | Keith - others Keith smiled, he knew from the moment this guy walked up he was going to gain ether a friend or a foe on this, thankfully it was a friend. As Clopin commented on his collection he only thought about the whole store he had and how many things he had that would really startle people. "Thanks, if you like these tricks you should see the Meow's Mayham. I have so many tricks and other funny items that would probably tickle your fancy." the man chuckled, he did enjoy his job so much. Clopin offered to help and Keith smiled, it was his big devious smile that creeped people out some times, others always wondered how he managed such a big smile. "This sounds like a great idea, nothing is better then partner with the wanting to prank people." He then introduced himself and Keith kept his smile, "Nice to meet you Clopin, I'm Keith, so who do you have in mind?" The man laughed. Today was going to be a day that wonderland would soon not forget, and one Keith would have so much fun with. |
