| Her feet carried her across the long road of the village; her eyes watching every person that passed by. Malani was on her way to grab something to eat, as she hadn't picked up much for home in a few days, and she didn't feel like eating anything she had anyway. Plus, people watching was something she enjoyed doing on occasion, as it gave her a chance to see if anything, or anyone, was out of place. Unfortunately, no one had figured out yet about the reason behind their memory loss, so she was determined to keep looking for clues.
Passing by a joke shop, she stopped for a moment to look in the window. Mally had passed by the place multiple times on her journeys through the village, but she had never actually stepped foot inside. Jokes were unimportant, and silly to her. There were more important things to do in the world than to sell little useless trinkets to people. All it did was distract them from the real problem, and that would get them no where.
Deciding to actually go in, she thought she might see who was behind the shop. She had never actually met the person - at least she did not think so. Maybe he, or she, would give off some weird vibes and prove to be helpful with her usual search. Cautiously, she pulled open the door and stepped inside, her eyes darting about suspiciously, as well as cautiously. Walking over to a small shelf, she picked up a can and opened it, jumping slightly when the insides of it popped out at her. Furrowing her brow, she placed the toy back on the shelf with a look of disgust.

The Cheshire Cat |

music | Keith - others Keith had been in the back of his shop where he had kept most of his living materials and even the stuff he was going to sell. He had been making some lunch, which consisted of a sandwich and some tea that he had gotten from March a couple of days ago, but he had placed it in his cooling device and kept it good for a while longer. As he finished making his food he took the plate up to the counter and sat on the bar stool behind it and ate on his sandwich while also working on the math of his shop. He didn't have much money, but that was because no one really wanted his items, because, well, people with his type of personality just haven't shown up yet. He did have a new friend join his pranking group thing. He was happy about that, he was happy to see that young people were taking a liking to his stuff. When the bell rang for his shop he looked up to see a beautiful lady with black hair enter his shop. When she picked up a jar he smirked. It said it was for Peanuts but it was filled with bouncing Snakes. He laughed a bit when she jumped, but the girl didn't seem to be amused by the joke. Moving from his position he quietly came up behind her. "Welcome to the Meow's Mayhem." The man spoke to the girl hoping to scare her a bit.. |
