[break] Kiara was born to Simba and Nala, she is the oldest of the couple's kids and will be the one to take the throne when it is time. Kiara was always wanting to go on an adventure, this often led to Simba worrying about her. He would often send Timon and Pumbaa to babysit her. One day, Kiara caught on to the two and she tricked them and ran away. She then bumped into another cub, the two end up working together to escape crocodiles and become friends. However, when the two are playing Simba and Zira come and force them apart. It is around this point where Kiara doesn't want to be queen because she doesn't know who she is yet. She is then spoken to by Simba about being connected and the circle of life. Kiara doesn't understand this at the moment, but she will. As the Lioness grows up, she is taught how to hunt, very poorly, but enough to hopefully catch something. By the time it comes to her first hunt, she is at her early adulthood. As she goes on her first hunt, she is trapped in a fire and is rescued by the cub she once knew as Kovu. From their Kiara is excited to see that her friend wishes to join the Pridelands. The two spend quite a long time together, he teaching her to hunt and her teaching him how to have fun. The two grow quite close and fall in love. However, things are not to be when Kovu is exiled from the lands, Kiara tried to argue with her father but it ended up in Kiara crying. Later she sneaks out and roams long by herself. Fearing that she is alone once again, yet true love finds her and she meets up with Kovu once again. The two contemplate about running away and starting their own pack, but Kiara comes to the realization that something has to be done. Both return in time to save both the outsiders and the pridelanders from killing each other. It is then that Kiara and Zira get into a fight and it ends in the loss of Zira's life, or so she believes. This causes a great sadness in the girl, she believed Zira could do good but she couldn't save her. With both united they are stronger and Kiara and Kovu marry. [break]
[break]After the curse Kiara has forgotten everything about what had happened in her life. Now she is the daughter of the head of the population that lives in the fields. The community is that of the Pridelanders, most of them don't know why they are together, but most of them woke up together so they decided to stick up. She does know that Simba and Nala are her parents only because of the striking resemblance they have. No one seemed to question this, and Kiara was okay with it. She also helps out with the community and is always roaming off to find her own adventures, also leading into the places where her father tells her not to go. [break]

[break]As a cub Kiara is very playful and wants to explore as much as she can. She is very lost in what she wants to do and often pushed away her royal duties. As she grows older she does not lose these traits, but grows on them. She wants to be free to be her own person and that makes her feel very alone. She also wants to prove herself to her father, she wants him to see that she is more than a Princess, that she is a lioness who can hunt for herself and protect herself, but with the people around her they don't help that. When she spends time with Kovu she slowly starts to see that she is not alone and that he was one of the only people who actually helped her be more than she could be. As the two became close she grew to accept her future role as queen and wanted nothing more than to be with him, even if it meant disobeying her father. When the curse hit she retreated back to the personality before she met Kovu, she does not trust the people her father tells her too but curiosity about them still excites her. She also wants to explore and again feels alone. This time she does not want to take over being the leader of the community like her father wants her to be. She instead wants to be free and to roam the world.[break]
