Wilbur Robinson is the only child of Franny and Cornelius Robinson. His mother is a music conductor, having taught frogs to sing smooth jazz. Cornelius, formally known as Lewis, is a famous inventor. As you can tell, Wilbur comes from, two highly intelligent parents. [Break][break]
While his father is away on business working on new inventions with his business partners, Wilbur was granted free access to his father's garage. Normally Wilbur wasn't allowed to use the garage unless assisting his father but Cornelius thought he was old enough to take care of it while he was away.
[Break][break]
One night it was late and storming. Wilbur had spent his entire day in his father's garage playing with his father's inventions when his mother called him for dinner. Wilbur was eager to get back to the garage before he had even left. After taking the transportation tubes to the house and eating dinner with his family, Wilbur went back to the garage. As he jumped into the time machine he heard his mother's voice telling him to take out the trash.
[Break][break]
The young man groaned as he jumped out of the machine and took the tube back to the kitchen. Once he arrived back into the garage with the bags of trash, he exited the back of the garage. Wilbur didn't bother to shut the door all the way despite the words of caution his mother called out, he was coming back to the garage anyway. He dropped off the trash and headed back to the door when he saw it. The first time machine in air and a shady looking fellow with a bowler hat behind it's wheel. Within seconds the man's laughter vanished with the time machine and Wilbur knew he was in deep trouble.[break][break]
There's only one thing he can do- chace after the man and get the time machine back![break][break]
Wilbur quick does just that, jumping into the second time machine and follows the Bowler Hat Guy back to when Cornelius was named Lewis. He tracks the man down to the science fair where Wilbur finds his father. Desperate to prevent any harm to the timeline, he takes his father under a table to warn him but he simply brushes him off. [break][break]
Pft, scientists.[break][break]
Lewis goes on to display his Memory Scanner as Wilbur looks on proudly. All of sudden things go horribly wrong and the canner's propeller flies in to the air. The volcano a few tables over goes off, the sprinklers are pouring down, and the gym teacher is running around like a chicken with his head cut off as the fire ants crawl over him. Things didn't look so grand.[break][break]
Wilbur follows his father back to the orphanages rooftop where he begins to rip pages out of his book in frustration. After he fails to convince his father that he's actually a time agent from the future, he makes a deal with the young inventor. Lewis still doesn't believe him, that is until Wilbur pushes him off the roof and into the time machine.[break][break]
The dazzle of time travel wears off fast when Lewis decides to take the controls and use the machine to go back and find his mother. The two boys are found fighting over the machines and inevitably crashing it into the world it came from: Wilbur's present.[break][break]
This time Wilbur tells him if he can fix the machine then he'll gladly go back in time to find Lewis's mother. Little does Lewis know that Wilbur has no intent on upholding his end of the deal.[break][break]
Back at the garage with the now broken time machine, Lewis meets Carl, a talking robot. Carl, panicked over Lewis being in the wrong time, warns Wilbur that if he fails he may never exist. At some time while Wilbur was off strategizing, Lewis found his way through the tubes and into the Robinson's home. He meets Wilbur's family while Wilbur frantically tries to find him. [break][break]
The two collide and Wilbur finds that Lewis has no idea that he's Wilbur's dad. On the other hand, the family has met Lewis and now know he's there. Wilbur has every intent of keeping Lewis in the garage until his mother demands they come to dinner before she comes down there and makes them. [break][break]
At dinner, Wilbur's family shows too much interest in his new friend. To avoid any more suspicion, Wilbur starts a meatball war between his mother and his uncle. One disaster is avoided and Wilbur is more than eager to get Lewis back to the garage and out of trouble.[break][break]
A dinosaur controlled by a mini bowler hat crashes the party by crashing into the dining room in an effort to get Lewis. The Robinsons then team up to protect the small boy, sacrificing themselves to keep him safe. When Lewis defeats the dinosaur by removing the bowler hat with a meatball canon, the dinosaur reverts to behavior similar to that of a dog.[break][break]
Lewis is most appreciative to the Robinsons and their gallant sacrifice for him. Franny then offers to adopt the orphan boy but Wilbur cannot let that happen. With a swift movement, Wilbur knocks the hat off of Lewis's head to reveal his long spiky hair and it is now clear to the family who he is.[break][break]
Wilbur tries to get out of trouble but ends up cornering himself by admitting he was never going to reunite Lewis with his real mother. The truth upsets Lewis who then runs away from the family. By the time Wilbur catches up to Lewis it's too late, he has joined the Bowler Hat Guy in the first time machine.
[break][break]
When Wilbur finally catches up with Lewis, with the aid of Carl, he rescues his father and heads back to the Robinson's. On their journey home, Lewis reveals that he knows who Wilbur is and what he's done. Lewis also knows that he is Wilbur's father.[break][break]
It seems like they'll get home scot free until a claw is shot through Carl, taking out his mainframe. The Bowler Hat Guy's hat, Doris, takes the Memory Scanner from them and the future around them beings to change. This future that begins to unravel in front of them is the future in which Doris takes over. Before the future can fully unravel in front of Lewis, Wilbur begs his father to fix the time machine and fix the past as he is erased from existence.[break][break]
Thankfully Lewis does just that. He fixes the time machine and inevitably the past. The future is now back to the way it should be, with a few small changes(like the existence of a helping hat by the name of Doris). Lewis meets his older self and is shown their future inventions. Inspired, Lewis is ready to head back to the science fair to live the life Cornelius lives. [break][break]
Wilbur takes Lewis back to the science fair after one pit stop.[break][break]
The young boys arrive in the past on a gloomy, rainy day. The day Lewis's mother abandoned him on the front steps of the orphanage. Wilbur opens the top of the machine and tells his father that he promised he would let him see his mother. Lewis makes the decision to not meet the woman and instead returns to the science fair where he fixes and dazzles the audience. [break][break]
It is there that Lewis meets his adoptive parents for the first time and the timeline is back on track.

"So you want to know more about me, hm?" The dark hair boy says to an imaginary camera as he shuffles the papers in his hands. He taps the bottom of them against the top of the table to perfectly align them. Quickly the papers drop to the table as he flicks his hand. "Well you came to the right place!"[break]
[break]
He sticks his thumb against the center of his chest, "I'm Wilbur James Robinson and although I remember zilch from my time before Wonderland- I can still tell you all the important stuff like what my favorite food is in case you want to make me something."[break]
[break]
Silence fills the room and Wilbur's smile fades into a frown, "No? You don't want to make me pie? Fine, suit yourself." He shrugs lightly and picks up one piece of paper. "Back to the papers- I don't need papers!" Wilbur exclaims, throwing the paper into the air before pushing the other pages on the table on to the ground. He stands up from chair so fast it nearly falls over. "We're talking about me here. Who better to talk to you about me than myself?" The dark haired boy sits on the table's top and swirls around so his feet are now hanging over the front of the table. "As you can tell, I'm devilishly handsome. I get that from my mother-" His sly grin turns sour at his words, "Well atleast I assume that I do. I don't really know." [break]
[break]
"Genes are most impressive when you think about it." He waves his hands in front of himself, "But I'm getting a little off topic." Wilbur tilts his chin into the air. The young man rubs his index finger and his thumb against his jaw line in silence for a minute. "About me, eh?" His words were soft and trailed off as if he was unsure on how to properly describe himself to someone. "I'm an excellent liar. Actually, I don't like the word liar. I prefer deceiver because it sounds so much cooler."[break]
[break]
"I don't really mean to deceive people at first, it's just easier to fib your way out of trouble, ya know? I am always in trouble it seems but things just seem to go wrong for me.." Wilbur placed his left hand on his hip as he leaned forward to place his right elbow on his thigh. "Okay so I'm a bit careless and overlook the simple things but is that such a bad thing? I like to focus on the overall picture and just keep moving forward." He looks up, looking directly at the imaginary camera, "Where did I get that motto from? I don't know.. But it seems like a good motto to live by, doesn't it?" Wilbur shrugs it off before continuing.[break]
[break]
"Anyway, I'm good at getting out of trouble with my excellent deceiving methods. Not to brag of anything." His smile tightens into a smug smirk.[break]
[break]
"I like to think of myself as an intelligent man," He places his fist on his chest, "I like making things that could potentially help the everyday person. On the other hand, I don't like fixing things as much. If it's broken and there isn't a need for it, then why bother. Sometimes I have a hard time with that. I work at Isobel Tinker's repair shop and, ugh, I hate wasting time to repair another clock." Wilbur's arms fell to his sides as he rolled his head. "Why do we have so many clocks anyway? Who needs 'em!" [break][break]
Wilbur shook his head with closed eyes before lifting his head, "I'm bored just thinking about it." he yawns softly. "I think this is a safe place to stop talking. Come distract me at the repair shop if you want to get to know me. Seriously. Please do. You'd be saving me if you did."[break]
