Personality: Kind and loving, Aurore has always been generous to those she meets. She is cautious when she first meets someone, but she does not let that stop her. She loves meeting new people, she feels like she must have had a sheltered childhood. She enjoys the solitude of the forest and the song of birds flying past. She often joins them in their singing as that is her favorite past time. She is not easily upset, but once she is it is difficult for her to find the good in a situation. She is normally optimistic and a vivid day dreamer. [break][break]
Behind the Name: Aurore is french for dawn. [break][break]
History: Since the time she was born Aurora was beautiful. Blessed by fairies to be fair of face, have a voice as melodious as a bird and to be woken from a deep sleep. This last blessing was given after Maleficent had cursed her to die on her 16th birthday. Fearing for her life, her father had 3 fairies take her deep into the woods to raise her. And so they did, for 15 years they raised her as if she were their own giving her the name Briar Rose. On the day before her birthday she had been shewed out of the house and found herself in the woods, singing a song and thinking of her dreams. It was there she met Prince Phillip, though she did not know he was a prince at the time. Entranced by her gorgeous song, Phillip followed the sound of her voice to the side of a stream. She was cautious at first, knowing she was not to speak to strangers, but he had heard her sing "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream." Catching her in her words the two quickly began a romantic waltz, ending in a warm embrace. Before she could give away to much she ran away, inviting him to visit her home. However she soon found she was not to meet the man from the woods. The fairies revealed who they were, and who she really was, the princess Aurora. They whisked her away to the castle to meet her father. But they left too soon. Maleficent fulfilled her promise and Aurora was taken into a deep sleep. To her it seemed like only moments, but to the outside world three years had passed by the time Prince Phillip was able to reach her and wake her with true loves kiss. The two were reunited and presented to their families. Finally together, bliss was inevitable. [break][break]
Or so it seemed. Aurora awoke in Wonderland with unfamiliar routines involving singing with a local jazz band, and harvesting the food from the small garden that was behind a small cottage in the woods. She is concerned by her lack of memory, but more so with all of the strange things she has come across in the woods.[break][break]Play by: Elisabeth Harnois
