Jack walked up the castle steps. He was here to discus something with the queen and because the castle was filled with beautiful artifacts he just had to put in his note book. The guard at the door looked at him. "Hello boys, just your friendly Jack here with business plans." The men looked at him and opened the door.
Jack wondered in and thanked them. Making his way down the long corridors he looked at all the neat objects on the walls. The castle was definitely the most beautiful place to see in wonderland, well next to the rose garden that was. Roses gave off a certain feel and that was more romantic then art work.
However, Jack wasn't looking for romance he was looking for ideas and wanting to speak with the castle staff and or the queen. He had so many questions for all of them. Looking around people seemed to be buzzing around most ignoring the odd man.
"Hello? Excuse me? Can I please ask you some questions?" The man asked most people as they passed by, but no one even answered him. The man huffed and pulled out his mini notepad and started making notes on how no one answered him he just noted it for future ideas on perhaps a employee party.

Wonderland, with its assortment of strange plants and things, was the perfect place for an expert in botany. Eve had just come in from getting some very useful specimen to study on her research lab. Before she could reach the palace lab, however, she saw a man running around and asking for someone to listen to him. Eve, remaining calm and composed, approached the man with a kind smile.
"Can I help you sir?" She asked, gently tapping the man at the elbow. He had a folder or binder of some kind and seemed to be about as eccentric as she was. This could easily mean that he was an inventor of some kind as well, which would be very exciting!
"I'm Everest Emerson, royal botanist and researcher," she introduced herself, holding out a hand for him to shake.
[edit: i changed her to a botanist instead of an inventor just fyi]

I'd like to join you by your side For it is plain as anyone could see We're simply meant to be A woman then asked if she could help and Jack's eyes widen. "Yes, you can help me! I have questions to be answered and no one wants to answer." When she introduced herself he smiled brightly.
"It's nice to meet you Everest Emerson Royal inventor and researcher, I am Jack Burton, I plan the festivals." He shook her hand and was quite excited.
"I'm here to get information on an employee festival, like something that will show employees how much they are enjoyed, Its not going to be something I can pull of right away but plans for it are always needed." "Ooh yes Jack, the event planner. I've heard that name around here," she stated with professional smile as they shook hands and smoothly released his hand even though he was quite overly excited. Well, it made sense considering no one was listening to him and someone finally stopped to pay attention. She folded her arms and leaned forward slightly, showing that she was playing close attention to what he was saying. She couldn't help but smirk a bit at the enthusiasm coming off of him. It reminded Eve of how she felt when she you wrapped up in something. She was incredibly passionate as well. So, the fact that he was running his mouth didn't seem that strange to her. She understood.
"So, you mean something like an employee appreciation day?" She asked. "And is that just palace employees or anyone with a job? Will this be an annual thing? Should we talk about this in my office?" She didn't wait for him to answer as she started to back up toward her office.

I'd like to join you by your side For it is plain as anyone could see We're simply meant to be She had heard of him, that was such a boost to his ego, not that he was really mean and was never egotistical but it was always a rush to know that someone had heard your name before. She looked really interested in what he had to say and that made him more excited. When she gave the idea of a employee appreciation day he gasped and his smile got wide and his eyes joined in the process. His whole body was happy about what she said. "YES!" He said in a really loud tone, "That is perfect that is what we will call it Employee Appreciation Day!" He was really liking this woman she was very good with ideas and he was just getting so many ideas off of her. He quite enjoyed it. "Everyone with a job, Even the lovely Queen herself. She works hard too." He laughed a bit his excitement working on over time, she started to her office and he followed her, not even straying from topic. "Yes yes your office, that is good.
