So, Jack spent most of his time in the forest. Who cares? He didn't have a house yet, or even a schedule of things to do throughout his day. No, he spent most of his time climbing trees and finding things to contemplate about. Sometimes he even looked for clues as to who was behind the memory wipe, but he usually didn't get anywhere.
Jack preferred working on his own. But there were times when he knew a partner in crime would be rather useful.... he really needed to make some friends around here. But friends were such work. Not to mention romance was out of the question. How were you supposed to know if the girl you were getting interested in was someone who had a lover before they were brought here and now she was just looking for him? Or maybe she didn't even know? Jack would not want to get in the way of that.
At least the trees could keep him company. Even though this land was incredibly strange, Jack didn't really mind. He loved the woods, hence why he was there now, climbing on of the oddly shaped trees. Using his staff as an anchor.

The sun beat down on her red locks, turning some of them a golden color. Anna was walking through the woods, a place that she actually enjoyed being when she wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the village. However, 'getting away' was rare, as Anna was a very upbeat and social person. She loved people and everything about being around them. Well, most things. Some people were not the nicest, and that was okay. Everyone was different. But of course, the ones with personalities closer to her's, were the ones she got along with the easiest.
Treading along, Anna kicked at the leaves in thought. They had been there for a bit now and there was still no sign of why they had all lost their memories. It was such a strange sort of thing, and one she didn't like to dwell on, but it was frustrating sometimes. Her eyes glanced up, looking at the trees that towered above her, and the few animals that scurried about. That was, until her eyes caught something unusual. Was that a... boy? She made her way closer to the particular tree he sat in, glancing up with a questioning look when she was close enough. "Hello?" The redhead called out, both hoping she wasn't bothering him and that he would be nice enough. "What are you doing up there?"

how can i know who i am

"Hello?" Jack turned around as he heard a voice, "what are you doing up there?" Jack relaxed a little bit. It was just a girl. A redheaded but sort of blonde girl who was wandering through the forest. It was amazing how often this Wonderland was filled with pretty redhead girls asking him what he was doing. Okay, okay. So, this was only the second time but still. It was ironic. He finished climbing the branch he was closest to and waved down. "Just climbing. Nothing better to do. Why, what are you doing?" he asked, leaning forward on the branch a little bit as he did so. He wasn't afraid of falling, he was pretty good at landing on his feet. Plus, the wind had a way of helping break ones fall here in Wonderland. Or was that just him? ANNA ELIZABETH DELLE

Anna watched as the boy finished climbing up to the next branch, waving back after he did. "Oh, I see." She answered simply. The redhead was still curious as to why he was climbing the tree, but she decided to drop it. If that was what he wanted to do, he had a right to do it. She sure hoped he didn't fall though. Anna didn't like seeing people hurt, and to be honest, she wasn't exactly sure what she'd be able to do to help him if he were to be harmed by the fall.
"I'm just taking a walk." She told him, looking around at her surroundings for a moment before looking back up at him. "I like the woods. Full of mystery and adventure. Don't you think?" She asked him, a smile forming on her lips. "By the way, I'm Anna. What can I call you?" Though it was a peculiar situation, Anna was happy to meet someone new and maybe they could become friends.

He stayed up on the branch as she spoke, smiling and nodding at what she was saying ab out the woods. "Walks are good. As is the wood. I agree," he said, addressing her description of the forest being a place of mystery and wonder. "It can also be very dangerous though, you know?" he added with a bit of a wicked smile. Then she asked his name, giving hers, and Jack shrugged, "Hmm... Anna, that's nice. I'm not sure if I should give you my name just yet though," he said. He pulled his staff as if out of nowhere and hooked it onto the branch, suddenly lowering himself down and dropping to the ground, staff in hand. "How do I know you're not a spy?" he asked, his eyes narrowing as he stood beside the trunk of the tree. He really was just having a bit of fun. He was in a good mood today, after meeting that sweet little blonde girl this morning. They had recognized each other, and she was incredibly kind to him. Something he wasn't expecting from anyone here. And now Anna was acting similar, except that he didn't recognize her. ANNA ELIZABETH DELLE
